As for your greatness, I will declare it.—Psalms 145:6. To appreciate the splendor of our Creator, we need to take time to reflect on the works of his hands. David sang: “The glorious splendor of your dignity and the matters of your wonderful works I will make my concern.” (Ps. 145:5) We show concern for these works by studying the Bible and taking time to meditate on what we read in it. What is the effect of this reflection? Our appreciation for God’s dignity and splendor is increased. Surely, then, we are moved to join David in honoring Jehovah and saying the words of today’s text. Meditating on God’s wonderful works should strengthen our relationship with Jehovah and motivate us to tell others about him with enthusiasm and determination. Are you zealously declaring the good news and helping people to appreciate the dignity, splendor, and majesty of Jehovah God?

Here is your God, O Israel.—1 Ki.ngs 12:28.
As king of the ten-tribe kingdom of Israel, Jeroboam began to seek ways to strengthen his position. “If this people continues going up to render sacrifices in the house of Jehovah in Jerusalem,” he reasoned, “the heart of this people will also be bound to return to their lord, Rehoboam the king of Judah; and they will certainly kill me and return to Rehoboam the king of Judah.” So Jeroboam established a new religion centered on two golden calves. “Then he placed the one in Bethel, and the other he put in Dan. And this thing came to be a cause for sin, and the people began to go before the one as far as Dan. And he began to make a house of high places and to make priests from the people in general, who did not happen to be of the sons of Levi.” Jeroboam even invented his own day of “festival for the sons of Israel,” and he proceeded “to make offerings upon the altar to make sacrificial smoke.”—1 Ki. 12:26-33.

Happy are the mild-tempered ones, since they will inherit the earth.—Matthew 5:5.
Mildness, or gentleness, is reflected in our conduct with regard to fellow humans. For instance, we “return evil for evil to no one.” (Rom. 12:17-19) Having Christ like mildness makes us pleasant and spiritually up-building members of the congregation. Mildness is part of the fruitage that God’s active force produces within us if we ‘live and walk by spirit.’ (Gal. 5:22-25) Surely we want to be counted among the mild-tempered individuals led by Jehovah’s holy spirit! Jesus, who was “mild-tempered and lowly in heart,” is the principal Inheritor of the earth. (Matt. 11:29; Heb. 1:2; Ps. 2:8) As “joint heirs with Christ,” 144,000 mild-tempered anointed ones will share in Jesus’ inheritance of the earth. (Rom. 8:16, 17; Rev. 14:1) Other mild-tempered ones will be blessed with everlasting life in the earthly realm of the Kingdom.—Ps. 37:11.

Jehovah is a lover of justice, and he will not leave his loyal ones. To time indefinite they will certainly be guarded . . . The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.—Psalms 37:28, 29.
In a number of ways, Jehovah offers guidance, and we do well to take full advantage of it. Speaking of a time when Israel proved faithful, King David said: “In you our fathers trusted; they trusted, and you kept providing them with escape. To you they cried out, and they got away safe; in you they trusted, and they did not come to shame.” (Ps. 22:3-5) If we trustingly follow Jehovah’s guidance, we too will “not come to shame.” We will not be disappointed in our hope. If we ‘roll upon Jehovah our way,’ instead of relying on our own wisdom, the results will be rich blessings even now. (Ps. 37:5) And if we loyally persevere in that course, those blessings will be eternal.

Little children, guard yourselves from idols.—1 John 5:21.
In many lands today, people bow down to man-made images, and such gods are just as useless now as they were in the past. However, the Bible describes things other than images as gods. Consider, for example, these words of Jesus: “You cannot slave for God and for Riches.” (Matt. 6:24) How can “Riches” become like a god? Well, as an example, think of a stone lying in a field in ancient Israel. Such a stone could be useful for the construction of a house or a wall. On the other hand, if it was set up as “a sacred pillar” or as “a showpiece,” it became a stumbling block to Jehovah’s people. (Lev. 26:1) Similarly, money has its place. We need it just to survive, and we can use it well in Jehovah’s service. (Eccl. 7:12; Luke 16:9) But if we place the pursuit of money ahead of our Christian service, money becomes, in effect, a god to us.—1 Tim. 6:9, 10.

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,” 2 Timothy 4:1-6.
Workers of inequity level false charges against the true followers of Jesus (Yeshua) Christ such as lyingly calling them “child-hating, pro-pedophile propagandist.” Clearly Almighty God (YHWH) has NOT called these workers of inequity and this is further made certain by what Jesus (Yeshua) Christ said at John 6:65-69, “And he said, For this cause have I said unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it be given unto him of the Father. 66 Upon this many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. 67 Jesus said therefore unto the twelve, Would ye also go away? 68 Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. 69 And we have believed and know that thou art the Holy One of God.” (ASV). And so today, the individuals of good ‘heart’ are being drawn to the reality, the truth, as found in the The Inspired Word of Almighty God (YHWH), the Bible; whereas, those of bad ‘heart’ are getting ever more wicked as was prophesized at 2 Peter 3:3-6, “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:” (AV).

[Jehovah’s] activity is dignity and splendor themselves.—Psalms 111:3.
When asked to define the word “dignified,” ten-year-old Madison replied, “Well-dressed.” Interestingly, the Bible speaks of God as being ‘clothed with dignity.’ (Ps. 104:1) For humans, displaying dignity may sometimes involve being well-dressed. For instance, the apostle Paul desired that Christian women “adorn themselves in well-arranged dress, with modesty and soundness of mind.” (1 Tim. 2:9) But dignified conduct that honors Jehovah’s “dignity and splendor” goes further than that. In the Bible, the Hebrew word for “dignity” can also be translated “splendor,” “majesty,” “glory,” and “honor.” According to one dictionary definition, “dignity” is “the quality or state of being worthy, honored, or esteemed.” And no one is worthy of greater honor and esteem than Jehovah. As his dedicated servants, therefore, we should be dignified in speech and action.

You at one time walked according to . . . the spirit that now operates in the sons of disobedience.—Ephesians 2:2.
The spirit of the world promotes “the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the showy display of one’s means of life.” (1 John 2:16) It produces fleshly works, such as fornication, idolatry, spiritism, jealousy, fits of anger, and drunkenness. (Gal. 5:19-21) And it fosters apostate speech that violates what is holy. (2 Tim. 2:14-18) Inevitably, the more a person allows himself to be influenced by the spirit of the world, the more like Satan he becomes. Each individual must choose what he will allow to govern his life—holy spirit or the world’s spirit. Those who are now dominated by the spirit of the world can break free from its influence and allow holy spirit to guide their lives. However, those who for a time were led by holy spirit can become ensnared by the spirit of the world.—Phil. 3:18, 19

Love suffereth long, and is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5 doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not its own, is not provoked, taketh not account of evil; 6 rejoiceth not in unrighteousness, but rejoiceth with the truth; 7 beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 8 Love never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall be done away; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall be done away. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.
Now, note, that is verse 8, the Apostle Paul said that gifts of the spirit, including prophesying and speaking in tongues – used in the infancy of the Christian congregation – would be done away with. They would end. But love will always be. Jehovah is the very essence of love, and he is eternal. So live will never fail, or end. It will continue to exist forever as a quality of our eternal God (YHWH).

The kingdom of the heavens is like a dragnet let down into the sea and gathering up fish of every kind.—Matthew 13:47.
The dragnet, which represents the Kingdom-preaching work, gathers fish of every kind. Jesus goes on to say: “When [the dragnet] got full they hauled it up onto the beach and, sitting down, they collected the fine ones into vessels, but the unsuitable they threw away. That is how it will be in the conclusion of the system of things.” (Matt. 13:48-50) Does this separating refer to the final judgment of the sheep and the goats that Jesus said would occur when he arrived in his glory? (Matt. 25:31-33) No. That final judgment will occur at Jesus’ coming during the great tribulation. By contrast, the separating referred to in the illustration of the dragnet occurs during “the conclusion of the system of things.” This is the time in which we are now living—the days leading up to the great tribulation.

Your eyes must become eyes seeing your Grand Instructor.—Isaiah 30:20.
You have likely had experiences that convinced you of God’s personal interest in you, which strengthened your faith. Perhaps Jehovah proved himself to be in some way a Provider, a Comforter, or a Teacher. (Isa. 30:21) Or you may have sensed a clear answer to a prayer. You might have been facing a challenge, and then a fellow Christian provided help. Or personal study may have brought appropriate scriptures to your attention. Yes, Jehovah proved to be just what he needed to be for you. Think back on your years in the truth. Can you recall more than one occasion when you felt Jehovah’s personal care in your life? If so, remembering those events and how they made you feel can stimulate in your heart the same feelings of love for Jehovah that you felt back then. Treasure those experiences. Meditate upon them. They are proof that Jehovah is interested in you personally.

In showing honor to one another take the lead.—Romans 12:10.
Despite his standing among God’s people, the apostle Paul remained humble. (1 Cor. 15:9-11) Consider how Paul handled a problem that arose in the Syrian city of Antioch. The Christian congregation there was split over the issue of circumcision. (Acts 14:26–15:2) Since Paul had been appointed to take the lead in preaching to the uncircumcised Gentiles, he might have thought of himself as an expert in dealing with non-Jews and therefore well-qualified to resolve the problem. (Gal. 2:8, 9) When his efforts did not seem to clear up the issue, however, with humility and modesty, he went along with arrangements to approach the governing body in Jerusalem to discuss the matter. He cooperated fully as its members listened to the matter, reached a decision, and assigned him to be one of their messengers. (Acts 15:22-31) Thus Paul ‘took the lead in showing honor’ to his fellow servants.

The true God is for us a God of saving acts.—Psalms 68:20.
From the inspired Bible record then available, David knew that the righteous can count on Jehovah to help them. When Jehovah brought the Deluge upon an ungodly world, he preserved alive Noah and his God-fearing family. (Gen. 7:23) When Jehovah rained down fire and sulfur upon the wicked inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah, he helped righteous Lot and his two daughters to escape with their lives. (Gen. 19:12-26) When Jehovah destroyed proud Pharaoh and his military forces in the Red Sea, He kept his people safe, thus helping them to escape a terrible end. (Ex. 14:19-28) David also had a very personal reason for placing his implicit trust in Jehovah’s saving power. David had experienced firsthand that Jehovah’s “everlasting arms” can deliver those who serve Him. (Deut. 33:27, American Standard Version) On more than one occasion, Jehovah had saved David from the clutches of “angry enemies.”—Ps. 18:17-19, 48.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows. Mark 13:8
Recently we have seen a partial fulfillment of this scripture with respect earthquakes. Now the question is, how close are we to the culmination of the end times? Consider the following: Earthquake Costa Rica 7.5 By Miriam on March 6, 2010 at 12:33 am under Feature, Miriam's Blog
On the radio in Costa Rica they said it was 7.5 This just happened and my friend was watching a movie as this happened. Looking on line it seems that the strength they are telling us is different from all the different sources. There have been quakes in Venezuela as well as Colombia. They are trying to say that there are always large quakes on the earth. I think they said 17 major quakes a year on the earth. The thing is there have almost been that many in the past WEEK. So, listen to your inner self. NOT fear…. but the calm voice you have within. No matter what it will be helpful to stay calm and it will guide you to safety.
Please prepare. Remember that we are all here on the same earth. We are all hearing the earth speak and there is no reason for fear. Feeling calm and centered does affect the earth and humanity. There are MORE coming so please prepare. Remember to prepare for others and assist when you can in any way you can. Financially, energetically or physically. Love Miriam More coming I am still feeling them…. strong ones……
All of us want to remain safe. There are many changes around us now that may make us uncomfortable about our safety and we wonder what we can do. The experts note that many of us are not prepared for even the smallest interruptions, for instance those that might cause us to lose utilities, like electricity and water.
