Let’s Look At Who Is The Aggressor In Gaza:
Some wrongly claim Israel is the aggressor, but that is just an outright lie. Here is a newspaper article that blows this outright lie right out of the water.
“Revisiting Disengagement, by Shami McManus and Sergio Carmona, in the Jewish Journal of Aughus 4, 2010 on Page 1.
Five years after the Israeli government up-rooted more than 8,000 Jewish settlers from the Gaza Strip, ceding the land to Palestinians in the hope of peace, some are calling the sacrifice a disaster.
“Anyone who thinks the forced removal of Jewish settlers in the Gaza Strip delivered the ‘peace’ that prompted the removal is delusional,” Rabbi Sholom Clment of Chabad of Boynton Beach said.
“What Israel got in return was a terrorist state, sworn in thought, deed and action and, in their written mission statement – the destruction of the Jewish State.” He noted.
The august, 2005 disengagement, spearheaded by then Prime Min ister Arial Sharon, unilaterally uprooted the 21 settlements of Gush Katif and four settlements in Northern Samaria. The action tore at the fabric of Israeli society and nearly caused a civil war.
Americans for a Safe Israel and Zionist Organization of America recently sponsored a 5 the anniversary commemoration of the Gush Katif forced removal at K Space in Sunny Isles Beach. The event also was a fundraiser for the refugees of Gush Katif.
Sharona Whisler, campus coordinator for ZOA, said the organization was one of the few pro-Israel organizations that took a position against the disengagement.
“ZOA was outspokenly opposed the the disengagement and said that it was bad for Israel and that there were no guarantees and no commitment from the Arabs,” Whisler said.
Carol Flatto, chairman of Americans for a Safe Israel, echoed these sentiments.
“By making a unilateral concession, Israel showed weakness and gave up her rightful claim to part of the Jewish biblical homeland and internationally recorganized territory, thus opening the door wide to additional claims and demands of the Arab world.” She said. [[Note, Israel did NOT give up her claim to the sea in front of Gaza so any flotilla crossing it would be violating Israel territory, per international law.]]
…
Five years after disengagement, 86 percent of those forced to leave homes in the Gaza Strip are still living in temporary housing, Vanunu noted.
“Even today, many of them are jobless,” he said. …
The legacy of disengagement has been “destruction and terror,” Vanunu told those gathered.
“From the ruins of my [former] house, they are shooting rockets into Israel,’ he said.
“There’s more violence and there’s more war,” she said. “the disengagement was very damaging…
Paul Hirschson, deputy consul general of Israel to Florida and Puerto Rico, said Israel left the Gaza Strip in the hope that the Palesinians would use the opportunity to build something better in partnership with Israel, which would lead to reconciliation.
“Sadly, this was not to be,” Hirschson noted. “Hamas, …has since imposed an increasingly dark rule over Palestinians and violently confronts Israel. Israel, while not compromising security, will continue to seek peace with all her neighbors.

REALITY –
One, Many Palestinians in Gaza seek strive and violence and not peace.
Two, They kidnapped an Israel soldier and killed two others in a wrongful raid into Israel and refuse to give him back and/or to punish the perpetrators of heinous crime.
Three, Many rockets are in aggression launched from Gaza against Israel by members of Islam, and apparently Islam gives tacit approval to this evil action as none of the perpetrators has ever been excommunicated and/or thrown out of Islam even though it is well known who many of them are.
Four, the Gazan authorities seek to promote confrontation as shown by their efforts to get blockade running flotillas to trespass on Israel sea space so as to get a confrontation.
Five, many residents of Gaza have committed various acts of aggression against Israel, but wrongly cry foul when Israel strikes back in self defense.
Six, Gazans to NOT want peace, their actions show they desire strife. [[They could have peace tomorrow with Israel if they wanted it.]]
